Por tercer año consecutivo, la representante a la Cámara y copresidenta de la Comisión de Paz del Congreso, Ángela Robledo fue escogida por los líderes de opinión de Colombia como la mejor congresista mujer del país.
La representante Ángela Robledo fue escogida como una política destacada por 2307 líderes consultados por Cifras y Conceptos, que hizo una medición en 17 departamentos y en Bogotá con el fin de conocer las percepciones de los líderes de opinión sobre temas políticos, económicos, sociales y ambientales.
Ángela Robledo se ha destacado en su vida pública y política por su afinidad con los principios promovidos por Antanas Mockus, al defender la vida como sagrada, lo público como un bien colectivo y transparente y la política como una obra de arte.
Ángela Robledo es psicóloga, experta en política social y se ha destacado en el Congreso por su férrea defensa de los derechos humanos y su incansable activismo a favor de una salida política y negociada para la paz.
En el Congreso Ángela Robledo hace parte de la Comisión Séptima, copreside la Comisión de Paz, es miembro del Consejo Nacional de Paz y participa activamente en la Comisión Legal para la Equidad de la Mujer, así como en las comisiones accidentales de Juventud y de Bogotá.
Su labor ha estado enfocada en promover la participación y perspectiva de las mujeres en los asuntos del Estado y del gobierno, exigir políticas que garanticen los derechos de la niñez y oportunidades para los jóvenes, defender la educación y la salud como derechos y un presupuesto nacional para la paz, entre otros.
Ángela Robledo llegó al Congreso en 2010 y su trabajo a través de una apuesta valiente, independiente y democrática le permitió regresar al parlamento para la legislatura que inició en julio de 2014.
