La bancada alternativa de congresistas manifestó su respaldo a diferentes movimientos sociales que unidos exigirán el retiro de la reforma tributaria.
Convergencia de organizaciones sindicales, sociales, estudiantiles y de fuerzas políticas alternativas, mañana se movilizarán en diferentes ciudades de Colombia.
Bogotá, 7 de noviembre de 2018. En rueda de prensa senadores y representantes de la bancada alternativa expresaron su apoyo a los movimientos sindicalistas, sociales, estudiantiles, de docentes, pensionados y madres comunitarias quienes unirán sus fuerzas para expresar su rechazo a la reforma tributaria denominada Ley de Financiamiento, así como al tratamiento que el Gobierno le ha dado al presupuesto nacional afectando la salud y la educación superior que requiere 3.2 billones de pesos para el años 2019: “con esta gran convergencia de organizaciones sindicales, sociales, estudiantiles y de fuerzas políticas alternativas, le anunciamos al país que mañana con las movilizaciones que realizaremos en todas las ciudades colombianas, estaremos dando respuesta al gobierno del presidente Iván Duque para exigir el retiro de la reforma tributaria que constituye un atraco a los bolsillos de los colombianos” comunicó Diógenes Orjuela, presidente de la Central Unitaria, CUT, quien agregó que esta convergencia se reunirá el próximo viernes para preparar las acciones de protesta para lo que resta del año y para el próximo.
Fue contundente la desaprobación general a la reforma tributaria de parte de cada una de las vocerías de los representantes de: la Confederación general del Trabajo (CGT), la Organización Nacional Indígena de Colombia (ONIC), la Federación Colombiana de Educadores (Fecode), la Unión Sindical Obrera de la Industria del Petróleo (USO), el Sindicato Nacional de Trabajadores al Cuidado de la Infancia y Adolecentes del Sistema Nacional de Bienestar Familiar (Sintracihobi), la Unión Nacional de Estudiantes de Educación Superior (UNES), la Asociación Colombiana de Representantes Estudiantiles de la Educación Superior (ACREES) y la Asociación de Profesores Universidad de Antioquia (Asoprudea), quienes informaron su decisión de unirse al paro nacional indefinido.
Varios congresistas de la bancada explicaron que el dinero sí se puede obtener de otras fuentes como de las trasnacionales extractivistas que son exoneradas, además de quienes evaden y eluden impuestos que ahora se los quieren cobrar a la ciudadanía del común: “hay propuestas, pero no hay quien las escuche” señaló la representante Ángela María Robledo rememorando que: “quien propuso primero el IVA a la canasta familiar fue Álvaro Uribe Vélez con su ministro Carrasquilla en el año 2006 y hoy, con la fórmula de ese neoliberalismo trasnochado, lo vuelven a traer”, así mismo evocó que en la campaña presidencial, con el ahora senador Gustavo Petro, propusieron gravar la tierra en Colombia porque en las grandes extensiones hay evasión lo cual se constituye en corrupción.
La rueda de prensa cerró con la invitación a más sectores sociales y políticos a unirse para defender la vida, la dignidad, la paz y la equidad por ser Colombia uno de los países más desiguales del mundo.
